Friendsgiving Outdoors With The One’s You Love
Thanksgiving is an event that you would want to spend with the people you love. When you were younger, you probably would have spent it with your family. However, as people get older, they may not always be with their families. You may now be living in a different city, state, or even country from your family in which you might not be able to come home for Thanksgiving.
Therefore, you choose to spend this holiday with the people who are closest to you who are just like family. Although not related by blood, as the saying goes: “The blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb.”
You all come up with this new holiday called Friendsgiving in which you spend Thanksgiving together with your friends. To have something new this year, you decide to have an outdoor Friendsgiving. There are a lot of questions about this. What food would I bring to the table? Where will we have our outdoor Friendsgiving? How can it be exciting? Here are some tips to help you answer those questions and to make your Friendsgiving absolutely amazing and memorable.
For your outdoor Friendsgiving, you might consider having a theme. You may have a beach Friendsgiving or a picnic-themed Thanksgiving. You could also have it on a camping trip. If you decide to go for the beach-themed Friendsgiving or in a resort, you might want to consider adding more fruits especially tropical ones to your menu on the outdoor Friendsgiving table.
Then you could have a bonfire afterward, drink some wine, while you eat barbecue and s’mores. Then of course you should have your Thanksgiving turkey to make it a proper Thanksgiving party. You may also get some ice cream and finger food. Since charcuterie boards are popular these days, you could do that too and have a nice Friendsgiving picnic. Make your day extra special!
